the absence of cohesion

Have you ever been so confused or frustrated by a situation that you just shake your head really fast until your skin and your lips flap back and forth?

No?

Never mind. The analogy is lost.

I have a midterm in forty minutes that I've studied less than twenty minutes for. Oops. Oh well, it's a 100-level history class with a funny little Chinese man who makes really easy multiple choice questions. Any Joe Schmoe* with the first edition of the book and a couple class is under co's** belt could pass the test with little effort.

In other news, the Girl and I are going to Fancy Corporate Italian Restaurant for the big V-day. I was having a lot of anti-Valentine's feelings earlier in the week, mostly because it's such a heterocentric holiday and they don't have "For my Girlfriend, from you Girlfriend" cards at Massive Global Bastard Supermarket , but now that we have reservations at FCIR, I'm beginning to feel the spirit of the season. I still think it's a heterocentric holiday that encourages the population to get fatter and fuck more***, but We don't have those particular governmental pressures. We're just going to Hell. ANYWAY-

In other other news, I have been working out. That's right. I'll give you some time to collect your jaw off of the desk. Take your time. Here's something soothing to look at while your eyes boomerang in and out of your head like Daffy Duck:

Yes, it's true. I'm actually exercising, and regularly. It's not that bad, I'm only running on an elliptical machine for thirty five minutes, three times a week. But it's a start, and a pretty strong one at that. I'm proud of myself, and starting to feel the effects - the Experience Points alone were enough to level me, so now I can get Improved Lowlight Vision I have more energy in the afternoons, and I haven't napped in a week or so (which is HUGE).

I'm starting the process of stretching my ear piercings. I was thinking of going to 6G or 4G, what do you think? I'm only at 12G now, which is pretty small and was relatively easy to do. My 10s and 8s are coming in the mail tomorrow, I might jump ahead and do them as well. We'll see.

In other other news, I will be on the College Radio this Friday at 10pm EST. Listen. Do it. Love it.

"Pepperland Laid Waste!"
the newspapers all shouted.
But who is to blame?

*or Jane Schmane, for you women's-lib folks

**"co", I found out recently, is a nice little pronoun that can be used for him/her or his/her or he/she. I like it, I'm using it, get over it..

***Only to encourage us a month later to take the best new diet pill of the decade and slap on another square of contraceptive goodness. Watch TV this time next month. I'm TELLING YOU.
